‘Figure Skating Queen’ Yuna Kim(22, Korea Univ.) will reenact ‘El Tango de Roxanne’ in ‘SAMSUNG GALAXYⅢ★Smart Aircon Q All That Skate Summer 2012’ in 5 years.
‘El Tango de Roxanne’ is the short program which she performed when debuting at senior competition in 2006-2007 season. Yuna Kim decorated her senior debut establishing world record of score 71.95 at the short program with ‘El Tango de Roxanne’ in ‘2007 Tokyo World Figure Skating Championships’.
‘El Tango de Roxanne’ is the program which Yuna Kim made a strong impression to the world figure skating fans and won the plaudits from them by presenting a captivating performance that nobody could believe she was only 16 year old young girl. It means a lot choosing ‘El Tango de Roxanne’ as a gala program for the ice show after announcing extension of her career as a skater and beginning her regular training.
Yuna Kim said “I know that there are many people who love ‘El Tango de Roxanne’ and added, “After announcing my challenge for the 2014 Sochi Olympics, I chose my senior debut program ‘El Tango de Roxanne’ with the intention of starting again from the start having a new goal. Yuna Kim said “It will be very appreciating if the fans enjoy the show and encourage me in the situation of starting again.”
‘El Tango de Roxanne’ is very attractive program which fascinating foot step and the hand using choreography go along with the tango rhythm. With Yuna Kim’s gorgeous performance harmonized, ‘El Tango de Roxanne’ still attracts the attention from the figure skating fans all over the world. Yuna Kim will also perform Michael Buble’s ‘All of Me’ in the show. Yuna Kim, who dressed up like a man and performed with Evan Lysachek, Stephane Lambiel and others in the spring show, will perform with Alexei Yagudin, Brian Joubert, Patrick Chan and Stephane Lambiel to show the figure skating version of ‘The Class of a gentleman’.
The ticket for ‘SAMSUNG GALAXYⅢ★Smart Aircon Q All That Skate Summer 2012’, which will be unfolded with the concept of ‘To the Ice World’, will be opened at 7 pm on 19th of July through Interpark ticket(ticket.interpark.com, 1544-1555).
