What did she say? Anyone know?
Hope my rough translation would be of any help.
Kim Yu-Na, aims to express her inner-self
Her new programme explained through ATS, Kim’s management
(YeonHap News, Seoul) Reporter: Young hyun Kim
“Now, the biggest goal for me is to perform the way I could express myself further and naturally.” Yu-Na Kim spoke while her current focus is on the upcoming World Championship in March.
“Previously, I couldn’t help myself being conscious of the results and this would create unnecessary burden and concerns.” She spoke on 4th of January through her management company All That Sports, “Now, I would like to relax a bit and try to reach out to audience in every breath through my performance.”
At the world championship in Tokyo, she will skate to ‘Giselle’ for her short programme and to ‘Homage to Korea’ for her long programme after having decided not to compete in the Grand prix series.
Since last October she has been committed to rigorous training regime with her coach, Peter Oppegard on a daily basis.
On her new short programme, she hinted, ‘I would become Giselle trying to show diverse spectrum of different emotions. There would be a powerful side of her along with sweetness and also sorrow that she feels. I would do my upmost to completely focus on the emotions.
‘I will be skating to a Korean tune that I’ve never tried before.’ She continues to explain upon her long programme. ‘I would try to show something very Korean through this programme.’
She also added, ‘This particular programme would enable me to express my gratitude to all who have supported me so far. Hence, I put my effort so as to share my own emotion-my gratitude.’
I just love how Yuna is always so grateful!

beth, thank you so much for the translation.. i always get touched at how Yuna is so grateful to her motherland, her fans and to everybody who has helped her get to where she is now. she never forgets the people who have always been behind her all these years.. it just warms my heart that a person with that kind of outlook in life, young as she is, exists…
